What started as a girl working at her father’s company in the late 80s and early 90s,, has now become a passion for husband and wife team Steve and Jamie Woods. Following in the footsteps of both her grandfather and her father, Jamie–along with Steve–offer clients unparalleled service by treating each and every customer like part of their family.

During their time with the company Jamie became more involved in the office, running the books, reading contracts and handling the everyday operations of the accounts payables and receivables. Her brilliant mind for numbers and details contributed greatly to managing the financial stability of her company. Steve on the other hand continued to install doors, manage projects from the field, and became more involved in the cost estimating and product solutions for the clients. With his vision and her leadership, the two left and created Woods Commercial Door, Inc. in the early 2000s.

Jamie and Steve have endured the recession of 2007 and came through it with a new insight on sustainability and success. Through the difficult times they were forced to streamline processes both in the office and field. They also were able to drive costs down for their clients, who were also feeling the effects of the recession. Over the last 15-20 years, the company has grown into one of the most successful overhead door companies in the area. Their commitment to excellence, relentless strive for perfection, integrity, and attention towards their employees and families, separates them from so many other business owners.
